Transportation and Air Quality Committee (TAQC)

The TAQC is comprised of representatives from all 11 jurisdictions within the  Northeast International Region. Representatives are from both the transportation and environmental/air quality sectors. The committee is unique with four co-chairs representing both fields. TAQC is tasked with a variety of initiatives but given the current climate; electric vehicles and infrastructure are the main focus. Currently the committee is executing Resolution 41-4: Resolution Concerning Transportation. A final report will be submitted to the governors and premiers at this year’s annual conference.
